The following is trip through the production world by our very own “Diesel” (bass player)
Let me try to set the stage for you, this will take a minute, make yourself comfortable.
First things first, I play bass guitar in The Buddy Blake Band, we record live in the studio as the basis for all of our songs, 4 guys playing in the same room, we find it is the only way we are able to create and capture magic. We rarely “jam”, we are specifically recording songs with defined chords and words and really trying to get a great performance, with all the benefits of live. Which makes what follows especially rare.
